By using CV Extract, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including any modifications that may be made in the future. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of this service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CV Extract ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

CV Extract reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Description of Service

CV Extract is an AI-powered resume parsing service that extracts structured information from PDF resumes. The Service is provided on a paid, credit-based model.

Fair Usage Policy: Our AI parser is optimised for standard resumes up to 3 pages in length. Resumes exceeding 3 pages will be partially scanned, covering the most relevant sections from the beginning of the document. Credits are consumed per resume regardless of page count or length. For best accuracy and results, we strongly recommend uploading resumes that are 3 pages or less.

3. Payment and Credits

All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances.
Credits purchased are valid for 15 days from the date of purchase.
Unused credits after the validity period will expire automatically with no compensation.
Each resume parsed deducts one credit from your balance.
Credits cannot be transferred, exchanged, or carried forward.

⚠️ No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to unused credits, technical issues, dissatisfaction with results, or accidental purchase.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all parsed information.
You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access token.
You agree not to misuse, abuse, or attempt to circumvent the Service.

5. Service Availability

CV Extract does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice or liability.

6. Limitation of Liability

CV Extract and PayrollSimple shall not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use this Service, including but not limited to errors in parsed data, loss of business opportunity, or any decision made based on the output of this Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Privacy Policy

CV Extract is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Service.

1. Data We Collect

Email address — collected at the time of purchase solely for the purpose of delivering your access token.
Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay. CV Extract does not store any payment or card details.
Resume files — uploaded for parsing purposes only. See Section 2 for details.

2. Resume Data Handling

CV Extract does not store your resume files or the personal information contained within them. Your resume data is never retained by us after processing is complete.

For the purpose of parsing and extracting information, your data may be temporarily processed by trusted third party service providers. These providers do not store or retain your data beyond what is necessary for processing.

3. How We Use Your Email

To deliver your access token after successful payment.
To respond to support queries if you contact us.
We do not send promotional or marketing emails.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your email to any third party.

4. Cookies

CV Extract uses essential cookies only. These are limited to session management and basic analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or any cookies that profile you as an individual.

Session cookies — used to maintain your browsing session on the site.
Analytics cookies — used via Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page visits and device type. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

By continuing to use CV Extract, you consent to the use of these essential cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, however this may affect the functionality of the Service.

5. AI Processing & Third Party Data Notice

CV Extract uses a third party AI provider to parse and extract data from uploaded resumes. When you upload a resume, its text content — which may include personal information such as name, contact details, work history, and education — is transmitted to this third party provider for processing.

We do not control how the third party AI provider handles, stores, or processes the data once transmitted.
The third party provider operates under their own privacy policy and data handling practices, which are independent of CV Extract.
CV Extract does not store your resume files or their contents after processing is complete on our end.
By uploading a resume, you acknowledge and accept that its content will be processed by a third party AI provider and that CV Extract has no control over that provider's data practices.

6. Third Party Services

CV Extract uses the following third party services to operate:

Razorpay — for secure payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy.
Third party AI providers — for resume parsing. Please refer to Section 5 for full details.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

8. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your email from our records by contacting us at [email protected]
We will respond to all privacy requests within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

CV Extract uses artificial intelligence to parse resume data. While we strive to provide the best possible results, the nature of AI-based processing means that results may not always be perfectly accurate.

1. Accuracy of Results

CV Extract makes every effort to provide accurate and complete parsed information. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any parsed data. Results are provided on a best effort basis only.

Parsed data should always be verified by the user before use.
Accuracy may vary depending on the format and quality of the uploaded resume.
Scanned or image-based PDFs may produce incomplete results.

2. No Responsibility for Errors

CV Extract and PayrollSimple shall not be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the parsed output. Any reliance on the parsed data is strictly at your own risk.

3. Hiring and Business Decisions

CV Extract is a data extraction tool only. We are not responsible for any hiring decisions, business outcomes, or consequences arising from the use of parsed resume data. Users are solely responsible for how they use the extracted information.

4. No Liability for Loss or Damage

CV Extract shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense — whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising out of or in connection with the use of this Service or any parsed output provided by the Service.

⚠️ By using CV Extract, you acknowledge that AI-based parsing is not infallible and that you take full responsibility for verifying and using the extracted information appropriately.

5. Service Changes

CV Extract reserves the right to change, update, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.
